I believe Yoga is for everyone, no matter what size, shape or fitness level. It has great benefits for body and mind.  Practicing yoga postures helps relieve tension in the body, which helps release tension in the mind.  It can help with better alignment, breathing, increase stamina and your general well-being.

Chair Supported Gentle Yoga uses the support of the chair for seated postures, some standing posture and focuses on breathing and functional movement. The class will help you improve your range of motion, balance, circulation, strength and focus.

There is a strong focus on breathing which can help to induce a sense of relaxation and have a positive effect on the nervous system. This can aid sleeping and stress.

The class is suitable for everyone inc ME/CFS/Fibromyalgia/back problems/strokes and people with limited mobility and the more mature student.
